Balau Deck

Balau Decking, 90mm x19mm, random Lengths

Balau decking has been used for many years. Modern Balau tends to move and splinter more than the likes of Garapa or Zimbabwean Teak. It is for this reason that we do not recommend installing Balau decking using a clip system. By preference, we would double screw the Balau decking using a stainless steel pozi screw. Balau decking is naturally a light brown colour and can be oiled using Loba Deck and Teak oil, preserving this natural colour or left to oxidise to a natural grey.
